Elizabeth Wilburn Joyce

Elizabeth Wilburn Joyce has practiced corporate and commercial litigation in the Court of Chancery and other Delaware State and Federal courts for over 20 years. She represents corporations, alternative entities, directors and officers, shareholders, members and partners in disputes involving expedited or injunctive relief, corporate governance, breach of fiduciary duty, trust, contract, fraud, trade secret, and noncompetition, and statutory claims for access to corporate records, control contests, appraisal, and dissolution. She also serves as Delaware counsel in intellectual property cases, and has represented clients in arbitrations before the AAA and FINRA. Prior to joining PWUJ in 2009, Ms. Joyce was a corporate litigation partner in Blank Rome LLP's Delaware office, where she practiced for 9 years. She began her legal career as law clerk to Judge William C. Carpenter, Jr. in the Delaware Superior Court. Elizabeth served as Co-Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association's Women & the Law Section for the 2013-2015 term, and has also served as a Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association.
